I lead the growth of Good Ideas, an incubator for ideas that create social change.
Owned by The Melting Pot (the pioneers of coworking), Good Ideas started on a shoestring several years ago and now has a loyal following of social innovators who trace their start-up roots to the incubator.
I design and deliver start-up camps, workshops, peer-to-peer events and coaching. As if that's not enough fun, I'm also charged with designing a model for replication of Good Ideas to enable this unique social incubator to be executed anywhere.
The role is part time which enables me to scratch my entrepreneurial itch on various projects.
At a crucial point in the club's history, the majority owners of Dumbarton Football Club appointed me to test the sustainability of a proposed new stadium development.
An extensive fan survey, stakeholder interviews and many hours of discussion have served to highlight the key issues and resulted in a set of clear recommendations that provide a path towards a sustainable future.
Financial projections, sensitivity and pricing analysis have provided a clear view on the financial potential of the development.
